Lush Haul...

Hey everyone, long time no see!

Today I want to post a few things from my little Lush haul last Monday. Monday was my first ever trip to Lush and I managed to spend only £25 so minimum damage to the bank account!

*IMAGES ARE NOT MY OWN*

Anyway the first item that I purchased was The Comforter bubble bar, I actually tried this out about an hour ago and it is really good. The bubble bar itself is huge and will easily make 4 baths. I only used a quarter of it today but it is simply AMAZING! When you break it up under the running water the bubbles all start to for and the quarter that I used gave me a bath full of bubbles. I suppose you could use a half to make even more but I would not recommend using more than that unless you want a bathroom full of bubbles...Another thing that I wasn't expecting was that just having my hands in the water made them really soft and silky and my body felt really moisturised after I came out of the bath. Oh and this makes your bath a delightful colour of pink which I love...
The second thing that I purchased was You Snap The Whip, body butter. I was expecting a body butter to be in a jar of some type but this is actually in bar form like a soap and has bits of stuff in it to exfoliate your skin, this is mainly berry scented although I smell some kind of liquorice in this particular product. Now I am not the biggest fan of liquorice but I hardly notice it when I am using this product in the shower. Something which you must note is that it makes your shower black so you need to rinse it out once you are done but overall I like it and it makes my skin feel smooth after using it.
The next thing which I purchased was Rockstar soap. Now, I had heard a lot about this soap and I decided to get it although I am not 100% sure as to whether I like it yet. This is the only product that I have not tried out of the ones I bought so I might have to do a separate review.
Next one is yet another soap which smells really citrusy and clean and that is Bohemian. It is a nice soap overall and although i've only used it once I definitely like it on the skin. It smells a little strong at first but when it is in the shower the smell dies down a bit but this is the perfect soap to wake yourself up in the morning and it is definitely one that I would choose for those early morning showers before college or work. The scent is so fresh and smells primarily of lemons which I love.
The next thing is by far my favourite Lush product ever! THIS. IS. SO. AMAZING. It could be the worst soap in the world and I would still love this just for the scent. They should make a perfume in this scent it is so amazing and it is The Godmother soap. The scent is so fruity and amazing and unique and so familiar. I could not for the life of me put my finger on what this smelled like until the girl in the shop informed me that people think it smells like creamola foam. Anyone who does not know what creamola foam is should be ashamed of themselves. It is basically a powder in a tub like baking soda that you add to water to make a fizzy foamy drink with a taste I couldn't even describe. This soap smells exactly like it. Ahh it brings me back to my childhood. So anyway i've tried this soap a few times and I love it so much. Just look at that beauty!!!
The final thing that I got was Soft Couer which is a massage bar, these are so amazing. You just heat them up and smooth them on your skin and this one has a delicious chocolate centre with just a hint of perfume. I really like this although the first day it gave me a bit of a headache but that is down to me being funny with certain scents. Since then I used it one more time and it really grew on me and it is definitely one to try out!
On my next trip I really want to try a different massage bar because I love the concept of them while also trying the bubblegum lipscrub which also smells amazing!!!!!

Talk to you all soon

Str8 Forward by Scott Cornwall

Hey everyone, this is my first review on this blog and it's not really a good one unfortunately.

I used this stuff last Saturday and it took 4 hours in total to complete the process which was a pretty long time to be honest. Although I have to say after the process my hair looked super shiny and stayed a little straighter than usual for a little longer but there was no drastic difference. I did everything that it said and didn't get it wet for 3 days even though that is pretty difficult in Scotland where it rains pretty much all the time. After I washed it I expected it to dry straighter than it usually does but it did not...

Overall i'm pretty disappointed and i'm glad it was only £5 that I wasted on this however I also used the Colour B4 to get rid of my purple and that was amazing... will write a review on that next...

On Safari...Nail art

This look isn't really something you would wear to church or a wedding but it is however a fun look for an animal themed birthday party or a trip to the zoo or safari park. Having the giraffe and the zebra print creates a more fun look however if a more reserved look is desired then perhaps using only one of the designs on all of the nails instead. Personally I like this although it is probably not the best to wear to a job interview...unless it's for a zoo keeper...

July Favourites...

So every month I plan on sharing my top 5 products of the month.

1. The first of my 5 favourites this month is the bundle monster nail art stamping plate in number BM20 specifically the top right hand design as it is beautiful when in silver and is printed on top of a metalic colour personally I like it on top of 2 colours with a gradient effect.

2. I've not been wearing much makeup at all this month because i've not been out a lot what with it being the holidays and everything but over the last few sunny days i've been wearing the lipsmackers lip balm in the coca cola with vanilla flavour it's good for moisturising and also tastes pretty good too. I also have the fanta one but have no idea where it is at the moment.

3. The third thing on the list has to be my maybelline gel eyeliner. I absolutely cannot live without this product it's fantastic especially on the waterline.

4. My Rimmel 60 second nail polish seems to work really well with my new designs using the bundlemonster plates and this colour is beautiful

5. Bronzer is a must have especially because my neck is not tanning at all at the minute so i'm having to put on a ton of bronzer. My favourite one is the natural collection bronzer because it doesn't have any shimmer.

Welcome to my beauty blog...

So this is a brand new blog which I plan on using for makeup/beauty alone including nail art and make up ideas. I've decided recently that I want to share my love of all things makeup and as i'm not yet ready to start filming youtube videos I decided that a blog was the best way to start.

My other blog will be more personal and about stuff like TV shows and my life basically, well compared to this anyway so if you want to hear about reviews, nail art tutorials and makeup ideas feel free to have a look at my blog.
